The Relief Society

Revelations 12:17: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Although this is interpreted as the dragon being Satan, and the woman representing the Church during the latter-days could it also be a literal representation of the war waged by Satan on womanhood and motherhood?

Satan's most effective tool today is polluting the image of Heavenly Father's vision of a woman and mother. What could make Satan more angrier than a woman whose children 'keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ'?

Heavenly Father knew of this deception by Satan and gave us the Relief Society as a means of remembering our eternal worth as women and mothers.

Good, good stuff. Amy Jo taught about this very topic today in church and it was EXCELLENT! My ward will be so sad to see her go. I am sad that I missed out on these pictures because I was in the hospital with Ben. :( They are beautiful!

The Hutchins women are all beautiful. Amy Jo- thank you for sharing this. I am thinking of Sister Becks excellent general confrence talk about women standing strong and immovable. I love that talk. Because that is what we are all striving to be each day. Thank you for being a great example of being women of great worth.
