Longfellow's Wayside Inn

We think this is Longfellow.
It's an unnamed bust at the Wayside Inn.

The boys wanted to let their Dad know, Mr. Brown Sign, that they were thinking of him.

He'd only been gone for five hours and we're already stopping at the sites.

The Inn also owns a grist mill.

We miss you Dad!

I have a soft spot for this spot...
(and for using the word 'spot' apparently.
You're a good mom! I think you've just about hit all the hot spots. Without developing spots. And then some.

I used to go sit by that grist mill to think back in the old days. Thanks for posting these pictures, it brought back a flood of memories.

Right near there is the Martha & Mary Chapel where Jenny and Roger were married!!

Love the pictures--they also have a nice restaurant there.
