Kellerhaus

This is the sign for Kellerhaus, the oldest maker of candy and ice cream in New Hampshire. With a name like Schenewark, we're drawn to other German oddities, but for me it's all about the chocolate.

Wednesday is the day their ice cream cones are $1.00.

My boys found this tidbit much more interesting than ice cream.

This brought out the boy in them. Like, who collects the poo poo for the paper? Does the paper stink if you hold it really close to your nose?

We settled on purchases from the candy store. Bagfuls for less than $1.00

Smiles visible on every face, and selected purchases held very tightly.

This goodie in the ladies restroom was my personal favorite, although in my home it's the duty of the prince.

Definitely a little gem in the town of Gilford, another great discovery by Mr. Brown Sign.

I'm proud to say that as NH residents, we HAVE been to this. Can't say that for much else. Loved the pictures.

I'm glad you are enjoying our fair state and all it has to offer. I'm so glad you are here to look after the Orton family. I have enjoyed getting to know you a little this summer. Kathy

Uncle David and I have been to the Kellerhaus--made our own wonderful sundaes, too. Great pictures.
