Another treasure Mr. Brown Sign Across America found in Portsmouth, NH is Fort Constitution.
It backs right up to the Atlantic coastline.
And, there are three lighthouses (this is the closest)!
The weather was definitely not a beach day but creatures are still in tide pools, sun or not.
There are a few treasures that can be found on the edge of the fort that hasn't been repaired i.e. bricks, shells...
I think we spent more time on the rocks than in the fort.

Fort Constitution sits on property now owned by the U.S. Coast Guard, a very active station, with lots of boats and personnel. Cooper's Cubmaster is in the Coast Guard, and this picture is for him.

I need to get that article for Hunter on the big 4th of July "Hunter" Birthday celebration they had at this Fort many years ago.

It's fun to see your brown sign adventures! I thought of Jarrod everytime I saw a brown sign on our little weekend road trip. Such great memories for your boys!
We love all the old forts along the New England shore. Looks like a great day!
I LOVE the light houses. They are my favorite. We HAVE been there. Kudos to us. :)
