Mom calls yesterday morning, and asks if I've registered to vote. Not yet. "You better go today, most states' registration for voting ends today." Okay, Mom. Mom called back in the afternoon wondering if I had registered to vote. Not yet. At 4:40 p.m. I remembered the admonition of my mother. In a panic, I'm running to turn on the computer, google register to vote in Ohio, and find out you turn in a form (which I have to go to the library to print) either at a school, city hall, post office, or library...all of which close at 5 p.m. I did it. I made it. I would have been very sad if I had lost the privilege to vote. What other mother would have known this date?Tuesday, October 7, 2008
Hats Off to Mom

wow - good for you for following through on mom's council. Did Jarrod follow suit?
OUR mom...
Good for you!
Value the vote.
This year is probably one of the most important years to vote for what you believe in, each one of us has a choice to make between democracy and socialism, between limited government and overgrown social programs and taxes.
I choose freedom and democracy.
If you want to be scared to death, go on you tube and search Obama Youth Brigade. This is a throwback to an eloquent speaker of the 1930s that promised change.
Congratulations Amy--especially since your vote actually counts!
What a good mom you have! I just asked Jason if we were registered to vote and he said "yup"--thank goodness! I count on him for everything besides nursing Ezra (lol)!
