I love cousins. Cousin love is something different than sibling love, or friend love.
It's a special bond that is always there, no matter how long it has been since you've been together.
Tanner's cousin Derek helped fill a big gap from leaving friends in Texas, going to Philmont with scouts he didn't know, and transitioning to Ohio where he'd know no one. Thank goodness for cousins.

Amy, loved this post. Tanner and Derek are so cute! Makes me so thankful that my children have such wonderful cousins. Wish I had that growing up but atleast my children do. I'm home!:)
Those man-cubs are clearly enjoying some bonding. They're starting to look all grown-up! Yikes.
What great pictures of Derek and Tanner. Derek has changed so much, too. I wish I was closer to my cousins than I am. I do have one cousin, same birthday as mine, who now lives in Tennessee. We were very close at one time. Not so much now. I have a strange family--glad I have the Hutchins in my life! Love, Aunt Shirley
He-Men Masters of their universe. Looks like a great place to explore.
Cousins do have a special bond. I just wish we had more that lived near us. BTW, Marshall finished medical school and is now in his family practice residency in Tacoma. That is why we moved from MASS, so he could go back to school. You and I were in the same boat. We are such good wives to let our husbands blossom!
