The Optimist's are a service organization whose motto is "Bringing Out the Best in Kids." Part of their creed includes "to look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true."
As well as "to wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile." We were invited to dinner, at
Logan's Roadhouse, as their newest members were being inaugurated!
And, because they love kids, they wanted all six of the boys to come!
Jarrod initially joined because he was told they served a free lunch on campus every Wednesday. They're a happy bunch of folks who like to help others. Which is a good thing.

Always game for a free lunch or free anything!! Helps the pocketbook, and especially one who has 8 mouths to feed.
