Oh Holy Night!

One of the quietest traditions we have is our Jesus box, wherein we place a paper written with what gift we'd like to give our Savior this year. Even little children understand gifts that are not material in nature, although Miller's "be nicer to the doggie" comment from last year made us smile

I found it hard to believe there were no moans from the boys when I pulled out the nativity costumes.
I wondered if they realized it might be the last time everyone can participate...at least for a while.

Ranger was a magnificent sheep.

The wisemen were dignified.

But in her first appearance ever, the angel stole the show.

I'm glad someone still uses the box. We haven't used ours in a few years but perhaps we should start again next year with gifts for Jesus like you guys. Love all the costumed participants.

Of course she did! How could she not?! Though the rest of them look pretty good too!
