The Public Library

I love libraries! I have such fond memories of library smells, discovering Nancy Drew books and signing up for summer reading programs.

Becky's library is gorgeous - one year old, clean, and full of new, great smelling books!

They have a beautiful craft room, friendly workers and lots of toys.

We're signed up, we've scheduled all their exciting events, and we've been everyday to check in. Do you love your library as much as I do?

Oh Yeah, we love the library and are there about twice a week. They have had amazing activities so far this summer and we try to get to them all. Its great free entertainment. They even have lunch for any child under 18. My kids are begging for the lunch, I told them maybe next week when I'm not there. We love our librarians by name, one even joined the church last week. We didn't know she was the wife of a member.

You certainly make sure your children take advantage of everything around them. I haven't been in a library since school, and we have one in Jamaica Plain as well as in Roslindale--both very old facilities. Looks like the boys are really enjoying themselves.

YES! YES! YES! Well, we love any place filled with books. Seriously, it makes me giddy to be surrounded by the written word:)

Our town does not have a library so we have to pay a % to go to a neighboring one so...we don't go in the summer our elementary school is open for the kids to use.

Yes, we love our library. It is beautiful and full of great books. They also have a summer reading program. At the end of four weeks, you get to choose a brand new book from their selections. They do it again for another four weeks, and once again we get to choose a brand new book. They even let the adults join the summer reading program. I will have to blog our library. I think it is one of the largest public library in the United States. The library is in Cerritos, CA.
