Why just stop with one, when there are three others to do? As I was vacuuming Ben's new handicapt van, I asked Miller to push the button to open the other side door. It was getting a little stuffy inside. Then I asked him to push the button to let the ramp down. Ooops. Next time remember to look what's on the other side of the ramp: Uncle Steve's other van. Steve, I'm really sorry about that little scratch.
We decide to grill some hamburgers. If those sound good to Becky, I'm all about firing up the grill. She gave me the verbal instructions, and I had about twelve patties down. The next thing I know there's massive fire shooting out the back of the grill. Did I think to move the grill away from the side of the house? No. Again, Uncle Steve, I'm so sorry about the scorched and melted siding. Do you still want my help?

I still wouldn't turn your help away. I would park in the street, hide the grill and get more bedding for Ben. You are still the best Amy Jo.
Things happen. The grill situation could have been worse, but it wasn't. I think I'd move it far away from the house when grilling anyway just for safety's sake. I'm sure Ben would forgive you 'cause you're not used to all of his tubing etc. You are an angel who has come to help her sister and you are doing a fine job. Your Mom's email was wonderful. A little compound might remove the scratch from Steve's van. What are you doing to keep everyone busy with this rainy weather? Love you.
Ahhh, yes. The little bumps in the road of life. Rotten luck. But it's all just "stuff." You are performing in a way that most would not or could not. LOVE, KISSES and HUGS to YOU!!!

I can tell you if all that occured while you were helping me in the same situation, I could care less because you seriously are an angel for what you do:) And I know without a doubt that they still love you and are grateful for all that you do. There are only a few things we can take with us when we leave this world, and bedding, cars and house siding are not among them. The love we share with those around us is, and the blessings we receive for the acts of charity and kindness as well. So hold your head high knowing that you are an amazing sister and anybody would be lucky to have you as one!! Love you millions:)
