It would have been helpful if I had remembered
to bring directions, map, anything pointing the way east.
So only making two wrong turns was not that bad.
One critical turn near home, and one near the end,
that made my 12 hour trip into a 14 hour one.
That's with not running into any congestion or construction.
We stopped off at the grandparents palatial palace last night.
Was I surprised that a warm supper was ready? No.
Surprised that they waited until 8:30 p.m. to eat with us? Yes.
I even got to sneak in a temple session with them this morning.
And grab oatmeal raisin cookies off the counter.
How celestial is that?
The boys were great!
They're very happy here, in the woods of New Hampshire.
With their cousins.
Becky is doing marvelous.
She ate for me, like a good girl, and kept it all in.
We're off to a wonderful start.
She even went to bed with the children.
This is my kind of babysitting job!

AMY JO is in the HOWZ! :)
Glad you're there. Happy to hear you had safe travels...especially happy to hear you made it to the temple AND got a cookie.
Good to see Becky smiling...I think you've made her summer.
Hip Hip Hooray for sisters like you!
Glad you arrived safe.
WELCOME.
THANK YOU! for coming
What a great sister, with a great family that would do this for another. You are a great example to all. Here's to Becky's improved health and wellbeing.
Amy your are a great giver, you will be rewarded in heaven for all you do.
If that spirit of giving will you please give Becky a big (but gentle) hug for all us Walkers.
I thought you had already arrived in NH according to your blog of June 2nd. Anyway, you are here safe and sound even though it took a couple of extra hours--such a long trip. Glad that Becky is home and that she ate and it stayed with her. Let's hope that this will be so for her during this pregnancy. I'd hate to have her go through what she went through last year. She has a lot of courage to say the least. Looking good, Becky.
I LOVE YOU AMY JO! :) You are my saving grace...
