Covering Up from Mosquitoes

When we walk around the block, after dinner, Miller has to be wrapped up or he's fresh meat for all the mosquitoes. If he stays covered, he's pretty safe. If I stop and gaze at something along the way, they dive bomb him. Eventually, he gets a little toasty, and wants to uncover a little. He's safe, as long as I keep moving. One time I was gazing, and pulled his stroller along backwards. They were all over him. As long as I kept moving forward with the air moving over him the mosquitoes stayed away. Isn't this so true with life? As long as we keep on the straight and narrow path, we're relatively safe from Satan. If we stop to gaze at the world, or turn backwards to look back, we're open to those bites. The gospel clothes us with safety, but if we choose to uncover, and slow or stop our progression, we'll be miserable!

very nice Amy Jo, I hear that a dryer sheet in his pocket will provide a shield from the evil critters much like a temple recommend.

We have so much to learn from God's creation when we take the time to observe. I like your observation. It is so true.

very nice lesson, we will have to use that for FHE this summer! Run around during dusk with towels for covering, see if we are protected. (anything that will let the kids run is usually a hit)
