This is Tanner having a difficult time getting his new contacts out of his eyes. He tried for fifteen minutes, then asked Jarrod to help. That didn't work. In came Uncle Zach and saved the day. I don't wear glasses or contacts or anything related to helping my vision become clearer, sharper, closer. I now have three (oldest) boys in glasses. What are the odds of them all needing glasses?Thursday, March 12, 2009

Oh I dred the day. Josh wants to get contacts and I don't know if I would beable to help him.
I can totally relate. Michael got his contacts less than a year ago, but eventually got the hang of it. We still have two more of our kids to look forward to this event. I often wondered how we got three out of three that need glasses. Hang in there Tanner. It will get easier.
Me neither, just for reading. Bro B says he'll Never get contacts, though he looks really good without glasses (when he’s reading). Bishop Arbon came over one day (HTg) after he got new contacts and he had a major problem with one, he could barely drive home. But our neighbor down the street got contacts and her world was totally opened up to her, she said she didn't know about “peripheral vision” until she got her contacts! I don’t know how girls get theirs in/out with long fingernails.
Good luck, Tanner. I never got contacts for that reason. Was afraid I wouldn't be able to get them out. You have to be so careful and make sure they are cleaned all the time so you don't get an infection in your eye. Give your eyes a rest for a couple of days before putting them back in. Once you get the hang of it, I'm sure you'll be just fine.
I think the boys look good in the glasses. I have one in glasses and he's five. I wonder if any other child of mine will get glasses or not. Humm....
