One of our assignments for weekly family home evening is "MISSIONARY." When there are eight people, and everyone needs to participate, thinking of assignments is a creative challenge. This school year we instituted "MISSIONARY," in hopes of better preparing the boys for their missions. The person with this assignment can recite memorized scriptures, share scripture or church history stories about missionaries, or show us a skill they've mastered that will help them when they're on a mission, etc. Sawyer, by far, has filled this assignment with the most zeal and zest of any of the boys. His first rotation through this assignment, he clunked clunked the ironing board down the stairs, ran up and got the iron and a shirt, and stood ironing while teaching everyone how to iron a shirt (thanks Mom). Last night's video is self explanatory. This is what he would fix himself for breakfast. Next rotation: the grilled cheese sandwich.

Well it appears that he is well on his way! Loved it.
Great job, Sawyer. Thanks for the lesson. I'll bet it was good, too.
Great job Sawyer!--and you're talking so well!
And THAT is how you land your own cooking show.
Bravo!
Well done Sawyer, you and Noah need to get together because he just learned to make an egg too!
Love the FHE category and LOVE the video. Egg in da Ho.
Great job Sawyer, thank you for showing me how to do that! Bro B says its time to go down and buy some bread and eggs! Is there a picture of the Finished Egg in a Hole? How many minutes went by before you flipped it over? Help me, I need another video!
Sawyer, we’ve watched your video 3 times and think we have your recipe down perfect. Sis B needs to run down and buy us a loaf of bread, we have 3 eggs so we’re all set there. We can now quote almost word-for-word the entire recipe ("you just wait, and That is how you cook egg... egg in a hole!") we’ve even got the hand gestures and body motion down. We hope our egg-in-a-holes come out as good as yours!
Very good instructions Sawyer! We enjoyed seeing you demonstrate your cooking skills. Can't wait to see the grilled cheese sandwich episode.
