Balance

Although the picture is a little fuzzy, Sawyer captured Miller balancing blocks on a cantaloupe (his current favorite for fruit). He thought it was so great that Miller would think of this all by himself. I guess it is amazing that since Miller doesn't know it's probably not going to balance, why not use the ball to build? He'll learn. It made me think about the tricky balance between my life as it is now and my life as I would like it to be. Elder Ballard said, "As most of you know, coping with the complex and diverse challenges of everyday life, which is not an easy task, can upset the balance and harmony we seek. Many good people who care a great deal are trying very hard to maintain balance, but they sometimes feel overwhelmed and defeated. Remember, too much of anything in life can throw us off-balance. At the same time, too little of the important things can do the same thing. King Benjamin counseled “that all these things are done in wisdom and order. Just do the very best you can each day. Do the basic things and, before you realize it, your life will be full of spiritual understanding that will confirm to you that your Heavenly Father loves you. When a person knows this, then life will be full of purpose and meaning, making balance easier to maintain."

Clever Miller! I'm sure he had fun trying to do the almost impossible. Glad you are back to blogging--no one has blogged since Thursday, and your brother Ben hasn't blogged in almost two months!!

Life is precarious..LIke Tevia said in FIddler on the Roof.

YOu would have first hand knowledge of that as would some of your other siblings at various times of their lives...I remember such times in our lives...when we had a yard sale to replace needed items.
