Finding Contentment

I'm happy to report a general consensus was reached between Ranger and Dad. Hanging around the house all day provided Ranger with another playmate, and he chose Dad. Ball after ball would be dropped in his lap, or on the kitchen table, or at his feet, in hopes that Dad would play ball with him. It didn't work all the time, but a few balls were batted and a few more were thrown, and in the end, they were both good. At the end of the day, what makes you content?

What fun for Ranger! And, I am sure your Dad had fun as well. Love the relaxing picture of him--things he loves to do best. And Ranger looks like he's relaxing as well. I'm sure you'll be sad when they leave to come back home.

Nothing more fun than playing ball with a dog, when the dog is willing and brings the ball back. Our dog, will fetch once and then he keeps it and won't bring it back. It works out for both of us ok.

I find great contentment when I look at my kids sleeping, peaceful and without a care in the world. It always warms my heart.

I like to just be near dad when he's doing his own thing... reading, scrabbling, crossword puzzling, napping, etc. He emits contentment.

A boy and his dog, or in this case, A dog and his boys. Contentment can be found in many ways, both look very happy sitting by the fireplace.
