Amazing work, ShirlGirl. The boys hats and mittens are amazing! Perfect fit, perfect style, perfect color (brown for little boys who play in dirty snow were a perfect choice). We've been a little low on winter attire after living in Texas for five years, and feel like we're finally stocked! Thank you, thank you.

Those are great! I love how happy your boys always are. Oh, I absolutely love seeing the picture of your mom and dad playing scrabble. There is nothing better than a husband submitting to his wifes wishes. He is a good man for sure.

Did you let Hunter know that his are on the way? I mailed them out on Monday, so he should have them soon. I just finished making a blush/pink and brown stripe stocking hat for a friend's daughter in Bethel, Maine. I am going to make mittens to match and then send them along. She requested the stocking hat--has the same roll brim as the boys' hats. And Tom, you are so funny!! Are you trying to make my nieces jealous?

In response to CubsctAnn, I used Lion Brand Woolease. It is part wool and part acrylic and is wonderful to work with because it is so soft and easy to knit. Some yarns are so coarse when knitting, but this yarn is really great! Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I appreciate it. Hunter should have his by now. His set is navy blue. I couldn't finish his in time for Priscilla to bring them to the children.
