I love this contraption! It's used heavily Monday morning as I make the rounds looking for items that have missed morning routines. It speedily sends things from the second floor to the first floor. 
You'll always find me home Monday mornings. I like to recover from the weekend, and get caught up on the pile of "male."

I am laughing, I am doing the exact same thing. I just wish I had a laundry chute. There is one that is in my closet, but it never got finished because the town didn't like something about it. Unfortunate for me.
I don't have any particular thing that I do on Mondays. Today I took my car to be serviced--oil change and to check on a few things. Since the car is almost 11 years old, there are things happening that have to be dealt with. Fortunately not right away and hopefully some of the work can be done by Jamie to save me a large expense. Now that I am home, I am going to get some cleaning done. My kitty is very needy today and wants to be held, so I don't know how much I'll get done. She's like a child who wants her Mommy! Happy Monday and have fun whatever you do.
That is sooo cool. So you mean the second floor maids send everything down to the downstairs maid. Amazing. Where can I buy one? I want one of those maid thingy's also.
LOVE laundry shoots. Had one in my first house and I miss it!

Amen! Monday is totally the catch up, grocery shopping, and clean up day for us too--or at least it was until I had two kids and now everyday seems to be catch up and clean up day! Give me some advice Amy Jo--I feel as if I'm in a constant whirlwind trying to get things done and then when the boys are asleep at night and I have a couple hours to myself or with Jason--I'm so tired that I usually fall asleep during a movie or if I'm reading a book--whatever shall I do!? Energy pills? Energy drinks? Chocolate? What's your secret trick?
Sounds like my monday's, without the laundry shoot. I have been working hard today, although it doesn't look like it around here! Ever feel like that?
i'm totally jealous! does it really keep your top floor laundry free? it's a probably at my house...:( did 6 loads today - UGH! (although i AM thankful for washing machines)
Wow, a laundry shoot. That is pretty awesome. Like you, we do much of our laundry on Monday especially since it's a no travel day for us this year. I never get it all done though, so I end up doing a little all week. Hope you all are doing well.
I have funny memories of our laundry chute from childhood... and I, too, love Mondays. My one set routine is that I must water the plants on Monday. The rest just happens. (Laundry is almost every day!)
