Dear Boys,
What a week, spring break week, that is. Dad would have you believe we didn't get enough done. I disagree. When school is out, and vacation is here, it's time to kick back and enjoy a little of the spring weather peeking its head around the corner of winter.
Cooper played some soccer, Miller played some baseball, Sawyer played some basktball, and Porter jumped out of bed. Dad chased down Breyer and Miller and their tornado destruction left behind their constant motion of play. I handled wash in adequately, dishes adequately and food fast-food drive through style.
Dad and Sawyer and Cooper enjoyed a boy scout camp out Thursday through Saturday. Sawyer and Dad left Thursday and Friday evenings when Sawyer had an all star basketball game to play in, and I met them at the gym. Porter's STEM related club, WIT, took an overnight trip to San Antonio Thursday morning to Friday evening and got to tour the Toyota facility down there. It was pretty quiet around here the latter part of the week.
Dad took the kids bowling, but it was closed, and they spent a little while in the stores finding all things Texas. Then they really got to go bowling, and everyone scored above 100. Even Breyer. She not only had the advantage of bumper pads, but she also got to use the ramp that rolled her ball down the lane perfectly. Miller's still asking everyday to go back.
Finishing the bookcases, getting haircuts, taking Breyer to the new Cinderella, cutting the grass, treating the fire ant mounds all got rescheduled for that elusive some other time..
Dad's got a potential two summer classes online he was asked to teach for Marshall University he's excited about, sport law. He's also in the middle of finagling his summer classes for Tarleton, and is working to keep those on line as well, just so we can travel this summer.
We're excited Hunter's papers are going in Tuesday! We really want to know when you're going to be leaving! Speaking of missions, how exciting for your cousin to be headed to the San Diego mission in the middle of May! So glad you guys were able to be there when she opened her call.
Thank you for being such good boys. We appreciate your example. You have no idea how much your brothers talk about you throughout the week. Looking forward to some together time...soon!
Love,
Mom
