Dear Tanner,
We are perfecting our gingerbread tradition Thanksgiving weekend...next year you'll be a part once again and we're already anticipating the joy we'll have at once again having you around our table.
We found a new way to glue the houses...melted sugar.
That's it. You dip the edges in and 15 seconds later it's hardened like candy.
So much easier and quicker! You'll love it.
Breyer had a house shaped piece, and LOVED decorating, and eating ;-)
Sawyer probably had the most candy on his house...it was VERY heavy!
He gave his to the family of the neurologist whose been caring for him...they were very touched, and lOVE Sawyer.
Cooper had just finished when the missionaries arrived for dinner, and presented them with his house before they even took their coats off! We were all pleasantly surprised. He loves you dearly.
Miller's house became the first casualty...it was yummy with those burn sugar corners! I think he waited all of five minutes before digging in!
Porter was going for "mosque" appearance, and became the second yummy casualty!
Hunter gave his house to a family down the road with little children. They were in the bathtub when we arrived, and were very excited! as obvious to our having to depart quickly! ;-)
Run, run, as fast as you can!

So much fun, so little time to enjoy it all. What cute Gingerbread houses they all made.
Wonderful gingerbread houses, and how nice of the boys to give them to others to enjoy. Your boys are awesome!
I love that tradition. So fun. Smart with the melted sugar glue.
