Write Upon My Heart

Sawyer offered in his prayer a simple plea for family unity and peace: "And can Dad come home and find us so happy and not fighting, even when we're playing games, that he'll walk in the door and go, 'Wow!'" I could not have said it better myself.

"Parents should teach their children to pray. The child learns both from what the parents do and what they say. The child who sees a mother or a father pass through the trials of life with fervent prayer to God and then hears a sincere testimony that God answered in kindness will remember what they saw and heard. Our goal when we teach our children to pray is for them to want God to write upon their hearts and be willing then to go and do what God asks of them." President Henry Eyring

What a wonderful prayer! Hope it works, Sawyer. It is so much easier to get along than to be at each others throat all the time. It is by example, that children learn.
