White Wash

Miller loves water. He comes running when I turn on my washing machine so he can watch the water. Thinking I would get a head start on the growing pile in my laundry room, I started a dark wash. While running to get Tanner's clothes, Miller filled my bleach cup with bleach. I have to admit I was fairly impressed he knew where the bleach goes. For a two year old that's being quite observant. I was even more impressed he knew when to try this when the bleach cap would be loose. I'm thankful he suffered no injuries with my bleach. I have learned not to mess around with wash on the sabbath day! I lost 3 complete outfits for Sawyer, and a shirt for Porter - could have been a lot worse.

Have to watch those little leprechauns--they move fast!! Sorry about the bleach damage to your clothing. Need to put the bleach on a top shelf where the children cannot reach it other than the older ones. And thankfully, Miller wasn't hurt. That's more important--we can replace clothing.

Having a husband that came to me with bleach spotted clothing I myself have outlawed it's use in this house, for laundry and especially for cleaning. I have come to realize that anyone with Hutchins/Glass genes should stay far away from bleach as possible!

Bummer about the laundry. I could NEVER give up bleach though, I love it too much!

Bleach is my friend. When I see white splatters and circles on clothing that should not be white, it makes me smile and think of mom. It's a legacy that I continue to pass along
:)
Besides, nothing gets the bathroom cleaner than bleach!

Good job Miller! That is the new trend these days ~ they’ve got that tied-dyed look! Or now you’ve got “clothes to do yard work in" (or paint).
