Feeling Full

Every time I pull out my mixer, and see this toilet paper tube, I smile. I personally have no need to have a bit of my mixer cord stuffed in an empty toilet paper tube, but Mom thought otherwise. She was out visiting me in January, and one day after coming out of the bathroom, having emptied the roll of its contents, decided that it needed a new home and put it on my mixer cord. I think it's hilarious. Her mission in life is to save. Whether it's people, clothes, food or empty toilet paper tubes, everything needs to feel wanted. I love this about my Mom. Miss you! Thanks for loving me.

this was CUTE. Mom left some of those at my house too. She's a gem. I'm glad you can appreciate it.

I read in an article with household hints that these are good to use for extension cords or cords to cookers, etc. Just put them in the toilet paper tube or paper towel tube and mark where they belong and then store in a draw. That way, they don't get all mixed up and you know where they are. I use an elastic around the cords of my mixers. Easy!

I think your mom and I are kindred (spelling) spirits! Abigail's teacher let me know that pretty much half of the items she's "needed" I've shared with her and MOST of the items I didn't purchase! Go figure...OK, I did purchase the toliet paper, just kept hte roll = the tissue paper I kept from "gifts" etc etc...pack rat OR tree hugger, call me what you may.
