Buses, Boys and Bites

This is Miller's little bus. It was packed in the bag I brought this morning to church. He played with it close to 40 minutes! I remember thinking, "Wow, I didn't know he liked this bus so much. I'll have to keep it in the church bag." Miller was also snacking on a few goldfish. I was proud of myself for finding two things that would keep him so entertained for so long. Little did I know that he was putting the fish inside the bus. I guess it needed a few passengers. Then, when he was ready, he would open the little door to extract the unlucky passenger and have a bite! Good job Miller!

We want our children there, and we also want them to learn reverence, which is a form of love for the Savior. We want our children to understand that it is a worship service for Jesus, where we show him we love him. You may be surprised at how much your children understand about this. Alma tells us in the Book of Mormon that “little children do have words given to them many times, which confound the wise and the learned.” (Alma 32:23.) They can be very sensitive to the Spirit.
