I've heard there are a few viruses going around.
This is the virus that beats all others - hands down
(or up if you're looking at the picture).
Miller began, then Sawyer. Then Tanner and Porter. Now Cooper.
Hunter's holding out strong. The only one in school today.
Tanner hasn't missed in five years. Until today.
Fever, croupy cough, sore throat. Day upon day upon night.
Parafluenza. Cousin to influenza.
Enough said.
Heard this was the year to get the flu shot.
If this is any indication - count me in...the arm, that is.

This is why we MUST be neighbors. I've just made a HUGE pot of delicious turkey soup. I would have brought you over some with yummy 'out of the oven' warm rolls. Get better soon. I've had my share of viruses, so PLEASE do not share this one. :)

I am so sorry! We too have had this, kids out of school for over a week, still coughing after 3 weeks, just a VIRUS!!
Hate paying the co-pay at the doctor to hear it is a virus.

Thanks for the warning! We had the flu bug that causes diar... and vommit--I really don't want this virus--time to boost the kids (and mine and Jason's) immune systems with Airborne. In the past month I have taken my boys to the doctor at least 10 times (Ezra has been prescribed 3 different antibiotics for his ear infections)--and I only have 2 boys--not 6! Good luck Amy Jo--you can do it!

Add one more to that stay-away list: Brother Bach! He started with a scratchy throat at the temple on Tuesday nite. He came home early from work Wed. and had to stay home Thu/Fri, poor dear. This is his 1st time in decades to be so sick for so long... talk about a big baby! I had to promise one of his coworkers that I wouldn't pamper him too much. *LOL* Our local CVS Pharmacist says there's nothing to do about it except be his sympathesizer ~ 8-10 days duration, get plenty of rest and fluids (ANY kind) and take Tylenol for aches/fever. Can take Delsym for cough and Chloraseptic for throat lozenges. I picked up some chicken noodle soup at Trader Joe’s, hope that helps too! Praying for All of us!
Tis the season..for many not so fun friends that invade our bodies! Us too! Wish I could bring you fresh rolls or soup! My Jared doesn't believe in the flu shot....we'll hope for him this year!
