A Huntington, WV treasure!, housed inside an old schoolhouse in Harveytown
The 1920's-30's radio shop room has vintage radios, test equipment and parts, a working crystal radio, and a rotary spark gap demonstrator (kid's favorite!)
The vintage hi-fi room has tube-type audio equipment, amplifiers, tuners, receivers, turntables, and tape recorders (Breyer was TOLD to push, pull, and turn all the knobs and buttons!)
(The HUGE slide ruler made all the boys pause...)
Ham and shortwave radios room, in operation for ham and emergency use
A Raytheon shot-out to Uncle Roger!
The 1940's-50's show room has a radio-TV sales room of the era, including lots of radios, some television sets, wire recorders, and a Gilbert toy display (definitely a favorite ;-)
The WV Broadcasting Hall of Fame room, where you find out what Don Knotts, Grandpa Jones, Bob Denver, Soupy Sales, Little Jimmy Dickens and others have in common.
Such a FUN stop - a sweet summer fieldtrip!
