Huntington's Kitchen

Huntington's Kitchen in downtown Huntington, WV was originally established as "Jamie's Kitchen" during the television production of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. Jamie saw his vision come to life as a warm and welcoming environment, where people from the community could gather to learn to cook with fresh, wholesome ingredients. When filming wrapped, he wanted the kitchen to remain open to the public, to further his mission of bringing healthy cooking skills back to the people of Huntington.

Cabell Huntington Hospital assumed full management and oversight of Huntington’s Kitchen, and with the input and assistance from an active community advisory panel, Huntington's Kitchen is now offering a wide array of cooking classes, demonstrations and events designed to measurably improve the health status of the community.
Huntington's Kitchen is the first and only one of its kind in America.

The cub scouts were able to attend a cooking class for kids, and made spaghetti sauce from scratch, then cooked noodles and ate their creations.

What a fun time for them, and then to be able to eat what they made is even more special.
