IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum

Mr. Brown Sign stopped by to see the fishing hall of fame while in Fort Lauderdale.

Truly a fisherman's paradise!

World record catches were displayed all over the museum and great hall!

Ted Williams, one of the few honorees inducted in two halls of fame!

There's also an outside marsh area, as well as an inside fish tank.

A man's tackle box reminds me of a woman's sewing box...

An Orvis fly making original!

And no museum would be complete without art. Fintastic!

Beautiful poem Grampy! Jonathan caught the most fish when he used his plain old [abc] chewing gum LOL And you're right about a man's tackle box looking like a woman's sewing box, priceless! Hope you're all feeling better <3 <3 <3 TGIF!

I went fishing with my Dad after my mother died. They used to go to Tall Timber in Pittsburg, NH--a five-hour drive from home. We stayed in cabins. Fished after breakfast until noon and sometimes in the late afternoon before dinner. Trolled for rainbow trout. Caught a few. Uncle David went one year as well. I also fished in Maine with friends for bass. Fun times for sure. Loved your Dad's poem. I'm not sure if anyone fishes in Clark's Pond anymore.
