Happy New Year 2013!

May your New Year be filled with the ability to provide for our families!
(The pizza stone pizza was delicious!)

May our New Year be filled with the courage to learn and try new things!
(Making your own pizza makes it taste even better ;-)

May our New Year be filled with good friends and love!

May our New Year be filled with lots of activity and health!

May our New Year be filled with an ability to trust in and serve mankind!

May our New Year be filled with the ability to see clearly!

May our New Year be filled with the ability to create!

May our New Year be filled with safety in all our travels!

May our New Year be filled with the inner most wishes of our hearts!

(They were all introduced to the Whitcomb tradition of running around the outside of the house, at midnight, barefooted, carrying something to usher in the New Year. Stan wants to be a better surgeon. I did convince him a smaller knife would work just as well.  Participants also carried a wedding ring, books, piggy banks, pillows, scriptures, and a candle.)

Love your New Year bits of wisdom. That knife does look a little daunting. I agree that a smaller one would have been fine, and I don't think I would have been running with it. Perish the thought of what could have happened. Happy New Year and a Healthy one to all. Lots of love coming your way. Aunt Shirley
