Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Mr. Brown Sign went on a business trip to Fort Lauderdale...wow, does it look sunny!

There were lots of statues paying homage to the Gods of the Seas...

Huge drawbridges built to let little sailboats sail along...

Whimsical beach art...

Gorgeous views of sunny skies, blue water, and lots of boats...

(Mr. Brown Sign woke up one morning to find EIGHT cruise ships had pulled into port! They're SO BIG!)

Uncle David and I were in Fort Lauderdale several years ago--acutally it was in 2000 just after we bought our timeshare on the Cape. This was also a timeshare deal but we didn't buy one. We had a fun time though and took a jungle cruise up the international waterway, looked at all the yachts along the way--biggies for sure. Then went to Orlando and stayed with Carole's siser and her husband for a couple of days before heading back home. Fun times. I think it was in late February early March when we did this, and it was nice to be in warm weather.
