Cooper had an unfortunate accident last week...
His hand was accidentally rolled under a gate wheel like this, only industrial version
For now he's casted. He had five stitches to repair the ripped webbing and palm between two fingers, and will need surgery to pin the broken bone.
Of all the boys, he is the one I least expected in the emergency room!
We're grateful the injury wasn't worse!

Ouch Cooper, this is really going to impact your LEGO, baseball, painting and Scouts. Get well soon, we have a beach party planned and need you healthy.
So sorry to hear that you hurt your hand. I'm wondering how you got your finger rolled over? What day is your surgery? Wish I could be your nurse when you wake up in the recovery area. Hugs to you.

Ouch!!!! We are rejoicing with you that it wasn't much worst. I hate to imagine how much worst it could had been. I looked back at the pictures from the last two enteries and see Cooper the Trooper is out there painting! Wow! When is surgery? Praying for a speedy and full recovery!
So sad for Cooper. It looks very painful. The Boy has wanted to email him a couple of times this week but then remembers his hand is broken and can't type. Hope the surgery is soon and pain free.
