Easter Eggs

I learned on-line about using Kool-Aid to color Easter Eggs.
WOW.

Just add a cup of boiling water to the pack.

The colors are instantaneously bright!

"Mom, this stuff is amazing!"

"My eggs smell so yummy!"

"Can we drink the leftovers?"

(A perfect brown from a dip in purple and then red)
"Mom, I am never drinking Kool-Aid again!"

We dyed 36 and they're all gone today!
But. That's not because of the Kool-Aid!

FABULOUS idea--i'm going with Kool-aid next year. Much better than stinky vinegar eggs.

What a interesting and fun idea. Must have smelled much better when dying the eggs. It certainly brings to my attention how much dye they put in that stuff.

Never heard of that. That's awesome, and the eggs are beautiful. Bet you had lots of egg salad and deviled or "angel" eggs to eat.
