"Tanner was over for dinner today. I should note here that our family has started a tradition over the past year. We take turns saying the family dinner prayer each day, and everyone present for dinner verbalizes one reason why they love the individual who is praying. It’s one of my favorite family traditions....
At any rate, when we have guests over, we usually invite them to pray so that we can express our love for them, and Tanner prayed today. I offered up the fact that I love Tanner because he leads others to Christ by example—he organized an indexing party at his apartment today during what would have been the first half of the Super Bowl.
He also leads them to style by example. Fast Sundays in his ward about half of his elders quorum wears
bow ties now! At any rate, we were glad to have Tanner over." Uncle Zach
We're grateful he has family to visit while he's away.
We're excited! Seeing his missionary application pictures make it seem more real. His mission papers are finished today, and he'll know in about two weeks where he'll be serving. Any guesses?

Great pictures...such a handsome guy! My guess, I will say Argentina. (But how funny would it be if he were called to serve in Panama) they could make it a threesome.
What an exciting time for your family. I can't wait to hear where he will serve...such a good kid!
He's a great young man, his example reaches places he may never realize.
Love the pictures. He has such a great smile--love that tie, too! I wouldn't even take a chance on guessing where he would be serving. His uncle served in California umpteen years ago. Wherever he goes, I just hope it is a safe place for him.
Boston, or Norway.
We would love him to serve in Boston and my sister would love to meet Tanner in Norway. If it's not Norway, she knows she has 5 more chances.
that SMILE!!!...
The Czech Republic. or Germany.
Just got Roger's email from Panama... he thinks Tanner will go to Honduras! He probably lives closer to the spirit than me--who knows?!?
