Jarrod went to Alexandria, Virginia, and wanted to see the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. In Dan Brown's book, The Lost Symbol, its description begins in chapter 78.
Erected in 1926 it is the largest holder of green space in the city. Inside it holds a replica of the ark of the covenant, a throne room from King Solomon's temple, and 20,000 volumes Masonic writings.
This colorful picture depicts Washington laying the cornerstone of the national capitol.
