Family Friendly Job

One of the boys' favorite things to do during spring break was to visit Dad on the Marshall campus.

Every year on assessment day, they serve the faculty and staff free lunch, usually outside on the commons, with different Marshall musical bands and singers entertaining. It's their way of saying thanks, and "Please give us a good rating."

Barbequed beef, coleslaw, beans, potato salad and chips go a long way in filling six empty tummies. I'm always up for a free lunch. Does your employer have fun perks that are family friendly?

Besides your employer, you never seem to miss free tacos.
I actually found Beezers when it was the end of the season and they were giving away free ice cream. Yea!
We went on Monday and it was right at the beginning of their season. A young man was being trained. A cone was $3.50. For $.50 more you could have a second, but smaller scoop...So $8.00 plus tax for 2 cones. How can people afford to go there often?
Love those freebies.

At work they have a day for the families. Since our family is a little small, last year we got to borrow 6 cute boys and really had fun. One year for Halloween Aunt Rachel brought the girls over. I’m sure people wonder how many Bach children there are, 6 boys, 3 girls…..
