The grounds are always so beautiful and tended with love.
Because of this nurturing, flowers especially thrive there.
It's an interesting analogy on how children should be grown.
Sadly, my own yard and gardens are slightly neglected.
I have onions planted in the garden.
I'm sure they'll go a long way in feeding a family of eight.
Today is the day! Plant seeds, seedlings, and love.

What are you doing to celebrate earth day?

Great picture! I liked your analogy how children that are nurtured and cared for flourish. You and Jarrod have both tended your "garden" well. Have a blessed day. We will be remembering who created this all for us.
I will be srubbing my tile, and remembering to be thankful for all of my many blessing ie that I have tile/grout and not a dirt floor.
I love the Temple Flowers. We use to go to the Houston Temple to let the boys run around in the garden's. We sure miss that.
Happy Earth Day! I'm hanging clothes out on the line (and praying it won't rain). We're also tending seedlings and having a no TV day.
YAY!
I scattered some grass seed on a large bare spot of the front lawn, and hope the birds don't think it is a delicacy for them. Since we've had some showers today, I thought it would be a good time to do that. Not sure what will happen, but it's worth a try.
We did get out and run in the park this morning--not because of earth day but because it's just another beautiful day in the neighborhood.
I turned on all of the lights in the house, even in the closets. I also enjoyed the warmth of the furnace.
I refrained from burning two bushes pulled out of the front yard. Didn't have enough time.
I went to the temple this morning, and Paki mowed the lawn this evening. I think both count equally on earth day.
I love flowers. It sure does brighten up everything and a day of life. I was so wonderful to see that Sean and the boys planted beautiful flowers and plants on our patio the other day for EARTH DAY WEEK. It made made day and I enjoyed taking the pictures of them doing such a great project together. What a sign off for scouts too. :)
ooops...totally missed Earth day. Did I even know? NOPE, that's what happens when you are cooped inside of a hospital. I didn't drive anywhere, didn't throw away anything and I refrained from showering for a day - does that count??? ;)
