Fish Fry

In driving out and about, we accidentally stumbled upon a planned activity for Cubscouts and families, so we invited ourselves to their activities, one of which was fishing. Porter gets the Only Bite Award, or in fish speak, he who inflicted pain to a fish.

Miller gets the award for the Biggest Heave Ho's, or in fishing terminology, you keep trying those cast-off's with your half-pole.

Sawyer gets the award for Rookie of the Year, or in fish talk, Amazing Cast-offs for a Newbie.

Cooper gets the award for the Most Frequent Cast-off's, or in fishing lingo, keep on trying.

I get the award for Hot Mama, or in fishing slang, What the heck am I doing in 95'ish degrees this close to slimey worms, a stinky duck pond, and no water to drink?

Amy Jo you're funny and SUCH a good sport. You ARE one hot fishing mama.
I'm worried about MIllers cute protruding cheeks. I just don't want them to get hooked when he's casting his line.
He's adorable!!!

My wii name is Hot Mama, but we can share the name. :) I hope your boys all said thank you for the fun fishing trip! 95 degrees, still?

What fun for the boys!! I loved fishing--caught myself a huge catfish in the Chenango River in Binghamton, NY many years ago when visiting my brother. Also caught trout when trolling with my Dad on Back Lake in Pittsburg, NH; bass in Green, Maine on Sabbatus Pond, with friends (had my own fishing pole, too)Glad everyone is enjoying themselves--Fish Fry anyone?

Did you catch anything? Looks like a great activity, with all those boys you have to be good at a lot of icky, gooey, and stinky stuff.

fishing? I'm jealous. The weather looks beautiful even if it is 95 degrees. We've had rain for almost a week...I'm ready for SUN!

I'd love to trade a couple days of your rain for a couple of days of my sunshine, when you rarely see rain it is so much more welcome when it shows up.

It must have been a shark or else his killer biceps would have held.
