Is it just me, or has anyone noticed how everything is getting smaller? I really noticed it with my ice cream, chocolate of course by Breyers. We buy one container and have a hard time satisfying eight people with two scoops. Of course it helps with weight control, so I haven't complained too much about not getting a bigger portion. It also prevents finding the somewhat half full container in the freezer either emptied, or with a little frost bite. But yesterday, while buying tuna, the can reminded me of Purina's dainty dishes for cats. Good grief. When I have to think of wet cat food, it needs to be addressed. Do food companies think we won't notice? Mayonnaise in the no-longer-a-quart jar is pretty annoying as well.

Might Mom Michele, let me on to say howdy!
Amy, your a riot! I completely agree, everything is deffinitely getting smaller. We recently ordered ice cream here from our local frozen custard shop (amazing i have to say, if you havent ever had it, you must!) and when they brought it, it was half the size they normally are, but the same price!! UGH...I say we petition! Miss and love you:)
Yep, the retail market is trying to sneak one by us. They have been shrinking the sizes over the past couple of years. I hate it too!
not only are the containers getting smaller, but the price is getting higher - which makes for double annoyance. How come my waist isn't shrinking???
Yup--ditto Becky's comment. Prices up, sizes down, and for some strange reason we all continue to struggle with the waist. Where's the justice?
Amy you are HILARIOUS! "purina's dainty dish" good stuff.
I just sturck up this coversation at the store earlier this week, about TUNA. Same "size" container, but only 50% the tuna--and 50% higher price...
we miss your family
