Good morning, Elder Schenewark!
Getting soooooooo excited! It hit me yesterday you're on your last six weeks, last companion, last ward, last area. So proud. Finish strong!
This week I saw two snakes on the road, and worked through tornadic weather and a severe case of poison ivy. Bring it on, Texas! It's been a stormy season thus far, but no direct hits near Granbury. We've had lots of heavy rain, again, which impeded a few of our plans.
Our home is still being blessed with the presence of Noah Duncan. Such a nice, easy going guy, willing to do whatever. I found a blog post of him this week, unintentionally. Miller was missing Sawyer, circa 2008, and asked if Noah could come play. So he did. And he still is. Breyer bugs him for games, Miller and Wagner go with him on dog walks. He's been here during a very busy time of the year with all of Cooper's activities, but has just rolled with the flow.
Wednesday there were some pretty severe storms so it was hunker down and play some games and watch some movies until Cooper's seminary graduation in Weatherford. The day was saved by a large group miniature golfing activity scheduled spontaneously. Cooper did a wonderful talk at graduation, of which I'm hoping to be able to share a portion or two.
Thursday he traveled with me and the younger three to two piano lessons, made a trip to Sonic for half price drinks, picked me up at the grocery store, and then he and Cooper went to a beach party in the afternoon, and a set of twins' voice and piano recital in the evening. Thursday was also TannMarie's official engagement day!
Friday was Wade Neeper's Eagle Scout ceremony. It was intimate and very well done. Mrs. Neeper did a good job decorating one third of the gym, like I did for Cooper, and Bro. Dewey presented the award. He said how this was his last Eagle Scout, very touching.
Saturday was Bro. Crawford's funeral. It was one of the best I've been too. They served ice cream, as it was his favorite. Add in a big picture of him on his horse, his hat, and a few flowers, it was sweet. Sawyer was asked to play on a Stephenville baseball team, by a man that knows Dad. We're glad he has a chance to play a little bit of baseball during the summer. He was picked up by the coach to go to Waxahachie, and we drove up after the funeral, in a down pour. So the second game was cancelled.

It's a full house, and getting fuller. Noah will be leaving Wednesday. We'll regroup and move around a bit, and get ready for more. Stay safe. Know always of our love for you.
Mom
