With All My Love

Good morning, Elder Schenewark!

I'm not sure why, but my phone doesn't allow me to download apps right now. So no Google hang outs.  I'll have to work on this! But know of my love for you!

Your father is currently suffering from another case of diverticulitis.  He does love some good trail mix, and spending a bit more time on the road this week is probably the cause of his peanut pain. He went to bed last night with a fever, and I had to leave him this morning trying to get a hold of Uncle Brad. He does not want to spend $800 in the emergency room doing the required tests to get some antibiotics.

Friday's date night was at Hoffbrau Steakhouse. It was okay. The steak tasted good, but we had to ask for the rolls right before we were leaving. Portions of my plate were served cold. It was a little too busy for our server to even want to make us demand better service. Saturday Dad spent a few hours out in the cold and spittle umpiring two baseball games behind the plate. Perhaps it was this exposure had made him sick, or a combination of the two. Everybody's home this morning instead of going to stake conference. I left them with strawberry shortcake for breakfast, and white chili, your favorite, for lunch.

Cooper played in a tennis tournament that had 64 schools! That's crazy! He played in the A bracket, vs the B bracket, and came in 7th place. That's even crazier! He and his partner are a force to be reckoned with.

Sawyer gave up on waiting for the doctor's note to clear, and played in his first baseball tournament this week. His first three games he had 9 out of 10 hits, three triples, a couple of doubles. Lots of stolen bases, two innings at the plate and time at third. He came home psyched. The next day he pitched three innings, went two out of four, and played second base. Both days were away games, and too cold to be playing. Batter up!

Miller is in pre-season, and has been reserved by a pro of a coach. It will hopefully be a good season for him.

Breyer left level three gymnastics for the back hand spring class. She'll need this skill to move on, and we thought this would be a good move for her, to master this skill and then go back to level 3.

There's a bit of action with the family members scattered a far.

Your cousin Abbey is engaged!

Your Aunt Jenny went to Columbia on a service trip with her local community.

Your Aunt Becky went to Utah to visit all her older children.

Our son in Brazil appears to be studious and in good spirits.

And our granddaughter is adorable and busy as ever!

The letter is a bit short on words, but full of pictures and love. Stay safe. Four months to go! So glad you get to talk with your brothers and father.

Love,

Mom
