Letter #31

So, I met a real life Samurai this week. And she's a member. And she says she's gonna adopt me, which would make me a Samurai as well, so....

But, she is about 80 years old, oldest member in the ward. She has the official stamp that all Samurai families have, as well as the symbol tatooed on her arm (when she was 12).
 So, she also told me I looked like James Garner. I almost cried. It's like something out of a dream. Old Japanese lady, who speaks seven languages fluently, tells me I look like 'The Scrounger' from the great escape.

We went to the hospital, my hair must of been looking clean, because three or four people told me it was looking nice. Then at the information desk, the lady who was helping my companion get registered, asked for the telephone number. I pulled out the phone and started saying the number. She didn't type one number in, just stared. When I finished, she looked at her co-worker, and said "he's pretty And he can speak." Then, the two of them started laughing, me and my internally bleeding companion, and they kept laughing, until the boss lady came out, sent them both on break and continued helping us.

And, new job i found, I'm excited about this one. We were teaching a professional PING PONG PADDLE REPAIRMAN. We had about a 40 minute talk on how he does it and he promised to teach me. Let's just say, I may not play the best, but everyone gonna be looking at the paddles. He gave me an old paddle and told me to make it mine. So I did.
