Dear Boys,
Tonight you're scattered far and wide, one on the way to Las Vegas, one already in Tyler, and one on the road with Dad.
What a memorable weekend. How could we not love her? I've heard of the face that launched a thousand ships, but this one has won all our hearts.
Miller has already told me he misses her, because "she plays with me." Breyer is missing her something fierce, and wants to know when she's coming back! AnneMarie was a wonderful sport being pulled in so many places by so many people, all while feeling a bit under the weather. Is she afraid to come back?
Normally we don't celebrate four birthdays in one weekend, but it's always nice to wait a day or two if family is coming into town. Unfortunately you all will miss your father's blueberry pie, perhaps if you hurry home you can share a piece or two.
As we all go back to our busy lives, our far flung schedules and homes, remember the love we felt this weekend all being together, expanding the walls of our home to include one more, and finding that one to be a perfect fit. Remember who you are, and honor us with your presence again soon. We love you all, and with the passing of your father's dear mentor, and Porter's namesake, we remember again how fragile life can be.
Love,
Mom
