With All Our Love

Dear Boys,

I can't believe you've been here and are now gone. Your two weeks home went by FAST! Although we did spend a few days on the road, and traveling always makes your life busier.

We're proud of the men you're becoming. We loved listening to your talks in church last week. We were even more happy to hear you again at Miller's baptism. We love watching you open your scriptures, not your phones, in Sunday School.

We loved watching you play with your younger siblings. We were well aware of all the time you chose to spend with them, whether you were building train tracks, playing games, or just hanging out. Those times are my favorite memories of the time we've had together.

Thank you for all your help in building Dad's built-in bookcase for his library. Hopefully we'll have the finished product done soon! It's getting close to being done - yeah!

I know I appreciated your willingness to travel to the wedding with me. It is a fun memory now that it's over! It's always good to practice ;-) We also appreciate your willingness to be flexible with your sleeping arrangements! Accommodations will get better as we finish!

Your brother opened up his cook book he got from your grandmother today and baked an "impossible pie." Hunter, you'll want the recipe. It all goes in a blender, and the crust forms itself while baking. Yummy and SO easy! Call when you're ready!

I feel kind of bad the weather got so cold while you were here, but it is January! At least the ice storm was very short-lived! Have you ever seen cactus with ice before?

After you left today the boys opened the Coins for A's package that came yesterday. What a great thing the coin men do for your brothers. And, Cooper asked him last time if he had any "princess" coins, so Breyer didn't feel so left out. She got a penny book, and five foreign coins with exotic pictures of animals. We surely love getting that package in the mail.

Good luck getting your school schedules set, some food bought, finding books, unpacking...getting on with your life. Don't forget to make a few dates!

Love,

Mom

(I love this picture showing the boys in their scout meeting. Sawyer is getting so grown up!)

(Breyer played this game all day because of you!)

You have a wonderful family, Amy Jo. They play together because that is the way they have been raised and they are very generous of their time because you have been so generous with yours. You are an amazing Mom and Jarrod an amazing Dad. Love you bunches. Aunt Shirley
