Letter #56

 (We Love You Too)

Dear Family,

I apologize in advance. This is going to be short. But the news is that I'm staying this transfer and that E. Bennett (his trainer) is coming to town!!! E. Cummings also was transferred to Londrina, though the other side of the city. O h  y e a h!  I'm pretty pumped ; D

We had an especially long week, with some complicated events but all is well, we move forward with hope and excitement for tomorrow and today and the day after.

I put together with E. Allen probably the best district meeting of all time, complete with Minute-To-Win-It challenges, obstacle courses and human pyramids. That's the very short version but I'll send more details later.

I gave a talk Sunday as the final speaker, in full Uncle Aaron High Council man suit status. It was, I think as well received as a raindrop on a seal skin slicker. That is to say it rolled off. It was loving and not condemning as some missionaries felt I should have been. Let's just face it people, one missionary can only do so much to help a ward change its course. YOU members, have real power for good and change at your fingertips.

One young man received the priesthood and brought his family to church by himself, getting the bus. We are teaching his whole family.

Well, if I had to sum it up in Paul Harvey terms, that would be the rest of the story. Still alternating between cold and hot weather. A lovely bunch of letters--handwritten letters--came in the mail this week, and I do appreciate them so much. Still trying to move houses. . .

Love, Love, Love You all,

Tanner

P.S.-- If you were going to send a package in the near future I could use some USA deodorant. That stuff is worth its weight in GOLD ; ) Love you!

Oh, I can't WAIT to hear the rest of the story on those games. Looks like a TON of fun! I spotted a couple of elders who may have been former companions of Elder Cummings in those pics, though I can't be sure (Faustino and Firmino).

Too bad they will be on opposite sides of the city! I hope they will be in the same zone, at least.

Best. Letter. Ever. These pictures are each worth at least a thousand words.
