Brotherly Love

This is the back of an envelope Tanner mailed to us.
It's "Snazzy Porter" in his bowtie.
I love when my boys show they like each other.

Porter wrote a poem for Tanner last weekend.
He knows Tanner loves poems, and I confess I'm amazed:

The Missionary

As a missionary, it is my obligation
To spread the gospel throughout the nation.
To read and study the gospel books,
To keep tracting, through dirty looks.

As a missionary it is my work
To endure my labors and never shirk.
To help my companion feel the Holy Ghost
So through our experiences we will gain the most.

As a missionary it is my deed
To keep the commandments and plant the gospel seed.
Into each members heart I will put this feeling
Until all of Brazil each night is kneeling.

As a missionary it is my right
To pray to the Lord each and every night.
To be listened to by omniscient ears
As I push through my missionary years.
