Frankenstorm Fun

While others were worrying about Frankenstorm, the wind, the rain, their power, the boys were borrowing my spoons, and putting them under their pillow.

Spoons plus inside-out-backwards pajamas equals a snow day: A day off from school.
It worked!

When you're unexpectedly given a day off from school, what would you do?
Hunter stayed covered and cozy to read.

Ranger didn't get up very quickly.

But Cooper got up and went out to play.

A few others went out to join him...

And he made a darling snow family, obviously very much in love.

And the Princess got that close to the cold stuff.
No closer, nothing more.
Welcome, winter!

Looks like everyone did what they wanted to on their snow day off from school--even Ranger!! What the heck, if everyone else is sleeping, he might as well do the same. Love how close the Princess came to the snow--cute picture.

That's not much snow for a snow day...I thought only the Pacific Northwest cancelled school for that type of accumulation. Glad that is all that Sandy threw at you. (And I'm with the Princess...snow...YUCK.)

Love the snow families, especially the holding hands. We miss the snow. Then again, maybe not. The day off of school would be fun!
