I think Indianapolis is a beautiful city!
There's a lot of family friendly places to walk, things to see, and places to visit.
Veterans Memorial War Plaza
The City's food of choice is the tenderized pork sandwich - huge!
The city has a beautiful mile long canal walk...we loved the gondola boats, paddle boats, kayaks...a very festive atmosphere!
The outside memorial to the USS Indianapolis is along the canal walk...
University of Indianapolis is also along the canal, with a beautiful waterfall!
Even though we chose not to visit the Children's Museum this trip, we definitely wanted to drive by!
(The sprinkler's were SO entertaining...NO one has them where we live!)

How far is that from home? The museum looks like great entertainment just from the outside, throw in sprinklers and you've got an amusement park!
