Links of Love (and Golf)

Hunter qualified for a district Optimist golf tournament, in Kentucky, so we ALL went!

Crooked Creek Country Club

While Hunter was teeing off at Hole #1...

The boys were checking out the golf carts, and decided $12 was worth having wheels for 18 holes!

By the 2nd hole, Hunter knew he was playing with the Big Boys...

And we were SQUISHED into the cart, making the tour of the greens, in shifts.

By the 3rd hole the hay bales were starting to look interesting...

And some of us sneakily sneaked into the country club's swimming pool

The 4th hole was the favorite...a long drop-off down to the green...

But the gardens were favorites of the girls!

The 5th hole bogey was chalked up to amazing greens distraction...

While we had difficulty distracting her from the trophy box!

The 6th hole involved some sand...

And finding cool license plates in the parking lot!

The 7th hole was very hilly...

With lots of time in the hall!

The back nine was hot, long and even harder...

And we found ice cream!

It was a beautiful day, on an amazing course, and hopefully we'll come back again next year!
