Flood with Love

It's not everyday you get a call to come to church dressed to work.

Boots replaced tie shoes and high heels...

Tools replaced scriptures...

Denim and boots were a necessity...

And after some songs, prayers and the sacrament, church was dismissed.

Good bye boys, be careful!

Many in Logan, WV were flooded from last week's rain

This is a good looking work crew!

This is a commercial clean-up for a hotel

The boys were assigned to a residential area to clean out the mud left behind

The mud was hauled across the street and dumped back in the river

The boys came home and even though they were tired, they were very grateful they were not living in those circumstances. It's wonderful to gain such perspective through service!

perspective.

it's one of my favorite words.

(reminds me of the flood in Vermont)

I hope everyone will be cleaned up quickly. Thanks for helping!

Gosh...that's some serious flooding. We have been SO lucky not to have anything that major around here.
