Hunter's Ordination and Sawyer's Baptism

Sawyer's waited for four months after he turned eight, so he could be baptized by Hunter.

Hunter turned 16 on July 4th, and advanced in the Aaronic Priesthood to the office of Priest. Holding the keys of the Aaronic Priesthood allows Hunter to perform this ordinance.

Jarrod did a nice job of explaining this.

What a sweet experience to have so many Hunter loves to be able to stand in: Tanner, Jarrod, Grampy, Uncle Aaron, Uncle Zach and Bro. Bach

Serving Mom Style

Sometimes I wonder if I have all of my mother's genes

Like the ones that dictate filling two cars with people, and driving to deliver brownies and a birthday present at 8 a.m.

It was singing birthday songs underneath a balcony of an apartment complex that made me really smile.
It's a joy to serve together.

Higgins Armory

This armory full of knights and swords and jousting horses is a must see, especially for boys!

The castle made of steel and glass makes for a perfect medeival atmosphere.

This good looking group heard about "get in free" day, and were one of the first in line.

If you can't get to the knights, they come to you.

And they let you be the knight!

Cooper and Mason enjoying the views.

These two boys were inseparable!

What a face!

Hands-on table

Enjoying a private joke

Recycling in the 1500's - armor hammered into a key lock for a door

The kids room was a nice reprieve from all the "don't touch" signs

A group effort to build a castle

One of my favorite scenes

No matter what he's behind, the face is always worth preserving

The Vacation of the Princess

Being subject to backpacks and hips is not much of a vacation, so entertaining the princess and ensuring her good times comes down to three things. Trying new foods, such as whip cream.

Enjoying new sleeping accommodations.

Seeing new faces.

A special thanks to these dear friends for their efforts.

She had a wonderful time.

Golfing with Grampy

Whenever Hunter calls Grampy, there's always a lot of manly golf talk.

So of course if we're in the area, a visit to the course is necessary!

Uncle Aaron tried to do a bit of catching up.

And Grampy was just as smooth as ever.

Grampy did a lot of laughing,

As this 70 year old man beat Hunter by 20 points, and Uncle Aaron was a close third.
